Billing and scope
How does billing work?
Retainers are billed monthly in advance. Cancel any time before the next cycle and the current month simply runs out — nothing is prorated back, nothing rolls over. Reconstruction projects are split into a deposit and a completion payment.
Is there a contract or minimum term?
No minimum term. We work month to month because a retainer that has to be enforced by contract isn't working anyway. Larger network engagements can be put on a fixed term if you'd prefer the price locked.
What if I need more shorts than my plan includes?
Extra edits are added at a per-item rate, or you move up a plan mid-cycle and we credit the difference. Most servers start on Starter and move to Growth within the first two months.
Do I need to record the footage myself?
Either way works. Most owners drop raw clips into a shared folder and we cut from there. If you'd rather not, we can capture gameplay on your server ourselves — that's a capture session add-on.
What happens if I'm not happy with an edit?
Revisions are included in every plan and built into the delivery cycle rather than treated as an exception. If a batch genuinely misses the brief, we recut it — that isn't billed as a revision.
Do you work with small servers?
Yes — Starter exists for exactly that. If the budget isn't there yet, book a single consultation instead. You'll get the plan and can run it yourself until handing it over makes financial sense.
Who owns the content you produce?
You do. Every file we deliver is yours to use however you like, including after the engagement ends. We only ask to reference the work in our own portfolio.
